About us
Fifteen years of one stubborn question.
“Would I be happy if this were my family?” Anne Kerr has been asking it of every shift, every roster and every home since 2011 - and answering honestly, even when the answer costs us work.

Who we are
Support workers you can actually trust.
Feel better in the comfort of your own home. We specialise in in-home support and daily living assistance for a wide range of people - whether you need help daily or weekly, and whether that need comes from disability, ageing, illness, recovery or rehabilitation.
We understand that not one plan fits all. Daily services can include anything from meal preparation and hygiene through to cleaning, transport, shopping, supervision and companionship. We take the time to get to know you first and build an individualised support plan around what you actually want your week to look like.
Companionship is the foundation of a trusted relationship with a support worker. We do not only want to help you with everyday tasks - we want to build a relationship where you are glad to see the person at the door. That one-to-one attention is difficult to replicate in any other setting, and it is the thing participants and families tell us matters most.
Anne’s Angels is an approved and registered NDIS provider, and we also offer our services to the general public. Every member of staff is qualified, NDIS Worker Screened and trained on an ongoing basis.

Our story
How a small in-home service became an accommodation provider.
- 2011
Anne's Angels begins
Anne Kerr starts the business after years of watching supports get designed around rosters instead of people. The first participants are supported in their own homes across the Highfields area.
- Growth
From in-home care to full NDIS supports
As the NDIS rolls out across Queensland, the service broadens into support coordination, social and community participation, and assistance with daily living - always with the same small-team model.
- Registration
Approved and registered NDIS provider
Audited against the NDIS Practice Standards and registered under provider number 405 000 9963, covering SDA, SIL and a full range of core and capacity-building supports.
- Today
Supporting people inside purpose-built homes
Anne's Angels delivers Supported Independent Living inside purpose-built SDA properties - including homes with a shared downstairs Community Room - so residents get housing designed for them and a support team who knows the building.
Our team
The people who actually turn up.
Every support worker is NDIS Worker Screened, first-aid and CPR current, and introduced to you before their first shift on their own.

Thinking about support work?
We are always interested in people who turn up when they said they would.
Why Anne's Angels
The things that are easy to promise and hard to do.
Most providers in this sector say similar things. These are the four where we are willing to be held to it.
01We know the homes we work in
Anne's Angels delivers the supports inside purpose-built SDA homes. We are in those buildings every day, so we know how each one actually lives rather than how it looked on a floor plan.
02Housing is never tied to support
Live in our home, use whichever support provider you trust. We keep the two decisions genuinely separate and put it in writing.
03You will know who is coming
A small, consistent team introduced before their first solo shift. No rotating strangers, no last-minute unfamiliar faces at your front door.
04Anne is still on the tools
This is not a company where the founder's name is decoration. Anne answers the phone, meets new participants and knows residents by name.
How we work
Six commitments that shape every shift.
Dignity is the baseline
Not a value we aspire to on a wall - the minimum standard for every shift, every transfer, every conversation. If a support does not preserve your dignity, we are doing it wrong.
Choice belongs to you
Your routine, your worker, your provider, your home. We will tell you plainly when someone else is the better fit, even when that costs us the work.
Independence over dependence
The best outcome is that you need us for fewer things over time. We build skills and confidence rather than quietly taking tasks over because it is faster.
Consistency is care
The same small team, arriving when we said, knowing how you like things. Reliability is not glamorous, and it is the thing people tell us matters most.
Say the hard thing early
If a roster is slipping, a budget is running down or a match is not working, you will hear it from us first - while there is still time to fix it.
The whole person
Health, home, money, family, boredom, loneliness. Support that only addresses the funded task misses most of what makes a week good or bad.
Tell us what a good week looks like.
We’ll work backwards from there.
No forms to fight through, no waiting list you never hear back from. One conversation, about twenty minutes, and you will know exactly whether we can help - and what it would look like if we did.
