Specialist Disability Accommodation

Specialist Disability Accommodation is not a facility. It is a house - with a front door that is yours, a kitchen you can reach, a bathroom you can use without asking, and neighbours you chose to live alongside.

Funded under Capital Supports - Specialist Disability Accommodation.

What this actually means

Anne's Angels is a registered SDA provider. Our homes are purpose-built rather than retrofitted, which is the difference between a bathroom that technically fits a wheelchair and one you can turn around in comfortably, every day, without thinking about it.

Every property is designed to NDIS SDA Design Standards, with level thresholds throughout, wide corridors and doorways, roll-in showers, height-considered kitchen benching, reinforced walls ready for ceiling hoists where they are needed, and provision for assistive technology as your needs change.

Our newest homes include a shared downstairs Community Room - a genuine social space with a full kitchen, lounge and dining area - so residents can host, gather and take part without leaving the building. It is used for shared meals, birthdays, movie afternoons and quiet company.

SDA and support are funded separately under the NDIS, but in our homes they come as one team. If you live in a home we support, our own staff deliver the SIL inside it, so there is one point of accountability for both the building and the care, not two providers coordinating around each other.

Tell us what a good week looks like.
We’ll work backwards from there.

No forms to fight through, no waiting list you never hear back from. One conversation, about twenty minutes, and you will know exactly whether we can help - and what it would look like if we did.
