Supported Independent Living

Supported Independent Living is the support that happens inside the home, as distinct from the home itself. In our properties the two work together; in your own home, SIL can stand alone.

Funded under Core Supports - Assistance with Daily Life (SIL).

What this actually means

SIL covers the help you need day to day - personal care, meals, medication, household tasks, getting ready for work or an outing - delivered by a rostered team who know the household well.

We build rosters around residents rather than the other way around. That means shift patterns that respect how people actually live: someone who is up at five and someone who is not, a Friday night out, a standing Sunday phone call home.

Levels of support range from lower-needs assistance through to 24/7 active support and overnight assistance. As needs change, the roster changes with them.

Living with others is a genuine part of the offer, not a compromise on it. We put real thought into who shares a home, and residents meet before anyone commits.

Tell us what a good week looks like.
We’ll work backwards from there.
